The BBC regional publicity team wanted to ensure that they could confidently, clearly and concisely introduce topics to a range of audiences across the organisation and the UK media.
Life at the BBC moves quickly. The audiences that the regional publicity team were presenting to were likely to have different priorities and many different voices competing for their attention on any given day. As speakers, the team needed to be able to grab the attention of their audience, before informing and inspiring them into action.
The Tailored Solution
We developed two full days of training for the regional publicity team, focused on confirming their key messages, structuring engaging and inspiring presentations, and delivering them confidently and concisely.
The sessions were not only useful commercially, but were also a fantastic team building exercise with public speaking rap battles and bedtime stories included within the training activities.
The best bit is that the skills that were discovered and practiced by the team will now flow out into the rest of the organisation, as they demonstrate them in their communications across the region!
