Increasing audience energy when speaking
Managing nerves when public speaking
Your agenda slide is the perfect opportunity to reinforce your key sales messages...
So many speakers believe that the agenda slide within their big pitch or presentation is simply there for their audience. They believe that is designed only to help the audience follow the logic and structure of what they are about to say.
But actually, it's so much more than that.
An effective agenda slide is an opportunity for us as speakers to embed and reinforce our key sales messages.
Read on to discover how to make the most of the agenda slide within your presentation.

One agenda slide, two different formats
Have a look at this first agenda in the image gallery. You might recognise it as a ‘traditional’ agenda slide. It's very functional.
And now have a look at the second agenda slide, which covers exactly the same topics, is equally as functional, but has had the wording amended slightly.
What does the difference mean?
The wording on this second agenda slide has been reworked so that it is a more effective agenda slide and reinforces our key sales messages. That is, the messages that we want our audience to most easily and quickly recall after our presentation.
The result of this second agenda style is that it puts our sales messages front and centre. This visual display (and repetition) during our presentation as we return to the agenda slide, makes it easier for our audience to remember and recall our key messages.
The result is an increased chance of our messages hitting home, and us being a successful speaker.
So the question is, when it comes to your next big pitch or presentation, what are you going to do differently with your agenda slide?
