Designing and delivering in-house public speaking training sessions is what Rich Public Speaking is all about. It saves the cost of sending individuals to one-off public speaking courses externally. It can be delivered exactly when and where you need it. It is tailored to the exact needs of your organisation and people, creating a super-effective learning experience.
I built Rich Public Speaking to ensure that organisations like yours receive all of these benefits and more.
Check out the rest of this page for more information on how in-house training works, the added-value that I provide and how we can get started with developing your own unique session.
What is in-house training?
In-house training refers to personalised learning sessions delivered directly within your organisation. Delivering training in-house means that the session content can be tailored exactly to your people’s specific needs and goals. This helps to make the training and learning as effective as possible.
Instead of sending staff off to external courses, in-house training brings the expertise right to the office. It gives your team a bespoke learning experience without having to travel. It is training that is convenient, cost-effective, and perfectly aligned with your company’s unique culture and objectives.
One of the best, if not the best course I can remember attending and I look forward to the next two sessions. I wish I had the opportunity to do this years ago!

How we make your in-house training super effective
Pre-session research with all participants
Ahead of developing your session, together we will complete a full research project to understand the needs, confidence and existing skills of all of your learners. Using online surveys, interviews and more we will get a full picture of the challenge and the goal.
Tailoring all course content to your goals
The research phase informs us about exactly the topics and techniques that our learners require. We then create unique training content and activities to help them develop these skills in the most engaging way. Every session that is developed will be packed full of examples, lessons and activities that are relevant to your sector and business.
Follow-up coaching for everyone
Learners always finish a training sessions engaged and inspired by session, but it’s easy to let new learnings slip once they are back at their desks. With this in mind, every participant is offered a 30 minute one-to-one presentation skills coaching session in the weeks and months that follow the initial training. This follow-up helps everyone to embed their new skills, ask questions and refine their technique after using their new learnings in the ‘real world’.
Video analysis of all participants
Everyone that takes part in a Rich Public Speaking training course is filmed delivering at least one presentation or speech. On the day they will receive feedback from their peers. After the session, they will receive feedback directly from Rich and a copy of their video. This feedback, and viewing themselves speak on camera is the most effective way to develop their presentation skills.
Access to a full library of resources and support
Your people will likely leave their Rich Public Speaking training sessions inspired about how their communication skills can impact their success at work. To support them further, everyone that takes part in my courses has access to a full (and ever-growing) library of resources to support them in all areas of public speaking.
Monthly learning emails
For those learners that like to read, absorb and consider ideas via their inbox, all participants receive a series of monthly emails after the course. Each email focuses on a. Different technique that we discovered during the initial session. The email provides a timely reminder about the topic, motivation to use it in practice and guidance on how use the technique effectively.
